TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethanes) is called thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer rubber. Elastomer refers to a polymer material with glass transition temperature lower than room temperature, elongation at break > 50%, and better recovery after external force is removed.

TPU has excellent wear resistance. When the material is often subjected to mechanical actions such as friction, scraping, grinding, etc. during use, the surface will gradually wear away. Therefore, the choice of wear resistance of the material is very important. TPU plastic material has excellent wear resistance, which is more than five times that of natural rubber, and is one of the materials for wear-resistant products.
TPU has good tearing performance. When the elastomer is applied, it is called tearing due to the expansion of the crack. The tearing strength is the ability of the material to resist tearing. Generally speaking, TPU has a high tearing resistance. , Compared with some commonly used rubber and plastic, the tear strength is very excellent.
