Antistatic ABS resin Plastic Raw Materials

1. The appearance of ABS is opaque particles, which can be vividly colored and have high gloss. ABS has a relative density of about 1.05 and a low water absorption. ABS combines well with other materials and is easy to surface print, coat and plate. ABS is a flammable polymer with an oxygen index of 18-20. The flame is yellow with black smoke and a distinctive cinnamon smell.

2. ABS has excellent mechanical properties, its impact strength is very good, and it can be used at extremely low temperatures. ABS has excellent wear resistance, excellent dimensional stability and oil resistance, and can be used for bearings under medium load and high speed. ABS is more creep resistant than PSF and PC, and lower than PA and POM. The bending strength and compressive strength of ABS are insufficient in plastics. The mechanical properties of ABS are highly sensitive to temperature.

3. The heat distortion temperature of ABS is 93-118°C. After annealing, the product will rise by about 10°C. ABS shows a certain degree of toughness even at -40°C, and can be used in the temperature range of -40 to 100°C.

4. ABS has high electrical insulation, is hardly affected by temperature, humidity and frequency, and can be used in most environments.

5. ABS is not affected by water, inorganic salts, alkalis and various acids, but is easily soluble in ketones, aldehydes and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and will cause stress cracking when invaded by glacial acetic acid, vegetable oil, etc. Weather resistance, and tends to deteriorate due to the action of ultraviolet rays. When used outdoors for half a year, the impact strength will be halved.

6. Like PS, ABS is a thermoplastic resin with excellent processing properties and can be processed by conventional processing methods.
