The traditional stainless steel thermal conductivity is 15 W/ m-K, the thermal conductivity of die-cast aluminum alloy is 50-100 W/m-K.

Advantages of thermally conductive PPS:

1. Light weight: In indoor lighting, the weight of lamps has an impact on many aspects. For example, the increase in weight will increase the difficulty of installation and transportation of lamps, and will also cause hidden dangers to personal safety. The density of pure aluminum is 2700kg/m3, and the density of aluminum alloy will be even greater, while the density of heat-conducting plastic is about 1420 kg/m3, which is about half of that of aluminum alloy. Therefore, in the case of the same shape, the weight is only aluminum About half of the alloy.

2. More environmentally friendly and safe: In the production process of plastic shells, almost no toxic pollution will be produced, while aluminum shells often have electroplating processes in the production, and the metals in the waste liquid produced by electroplating will cause water and soil damage. severe pollution. In terms of safety, plastic is an insulating material, so there is no need to worry about potential safety hazards caused by the conduction of the lamp shell.

3. Improve design freedom: Plastic has good fluidity, so it can produce very thin parts and design more complex shapes. The main production method of the aluminum shell is die-casting or stretch forming, and it is impossible to process more complex shapes during the production process. In addition, in terms of appearance, injection molding products will be more beautiful, and you can also add your own logo that is different from other companies.

4. Convenient processing and higher efficiency: Plastic heat-conducting materials, like other plastic parts, can be molded at one time without post-processing, and during injection molding, the mold can be designed to be four out of one, so the work efficiency is very high. Aluminum materials often need to be deburred after extrusion molding. If the requirements for appearance are relatively high, aluminum materials will also need to be nickel-plated and other processes, and the processing cycle will also increase.
