PA6 is a product with a large output, many brands and a wide range of applications among nylon engineering plastics. It is mainly because of its comprehensive performance and cost-effectiveness, and it is easy to improve product performance through modification, such as improving water absorption, improving its dimensional stability and mechanical properties. Adding 30% glass fiber to PA6 can significantly improve its mechanical properties, dimensional stability, heat resistance, and aging resistance. The fatigue resistance is 2.5 times that of unreinforced, and the service temperature after modification of glass fiber can reach 180 degrees. , the shrinkage rate is reduced to 0.3%; but the shrinkage rate in the direction perpendicular to the process is higher, because the glass fiber will be oriented along the flow direction during the injection molding process, causing the mechanical properties and shrinkage rate to increase in the direction of orientation.
PA 6 is one of the varieties with large output, large consumption and wide application in the nylon series. Widely used in automobiles, electronics, electrical appliances, machinery, transportation, textiles, chemicals, paper, packaging and other industries.
Transportation industry: PA 6 is mainly used for railway sleepers, insulating gaskets, circuit wiring and so on. In recent years, domestic railways have begun to promote the use of toughened and reinforced PA 6, and the developed PA 6 alloy has been successfully used in rail channel plates. PA 6 filled with carbon black is used to manufacture the rail ties that support the rails. PA 6 can be used for door handles of train passenger cars, brake press plates and slide plates of trucks, etc.
