PLA is one of the mainstream wire used in desktop 3D printers. It is a thermoplastic. PLA becomes soft when heated and hardens quickly after cooling, which is also the basic principle of FDM 3D printing.
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a heat-sensitive hard plastic with low environmental impact. PLA is a kind of renewable resources (starch) derivatives, is a relatively new type of environmentally friendly plastic, has very good printing characteristics: printing melting without ABS as pungent smell, printed model hardness and strength are good, in natural circumstances, PLA is transparent, after adding color printing effect is often bright color, good gloss. As a building material, it is suitable for printing products of all sizes. The stability of the environment below 50 degrees Celsius is 20 years.
