Polylactic acid (PLA), with good transparency, luster, antibacterial, acid and alkaline resistance characteristics, has good biodegradation performance, excellent material performance. PLA has smooth surface, good transparency and excellent barrier performance, and can completely replace PS (polystyrene) and PET (polyethylene terephthalate) in many places, thus reducing the problem of plastic pollution. PLA degraded fibers are widely used in the field of textile fibers because they have the properties of degradability, moisture conductivity and flame retardant, as well as molding, application and degradability.
PLA is a material that barely shrinks in 3D printing, and even open printers can print huge objects without worrying about the finished product hanging off the board, skewing or breaking. PLA also has no pungent smell when printed. As a biodegradable plastic, it can be recycled or decayed, making it suitable for making parts for boxes, gifts, models and prototypes.
