The increase in toughness obviously improves the interface affinity between the matrix resin and thermoplastic polyurethane, and at the same time, it can overcome the formation of microcracks between the two phases that occur during the processing of the blend due to thermal expansion and contraction, which is beneficial to the mechanical properties.
