PLA raw materials come from a wide range of sources, and the products made from PLA can be directly composted or incinerated after use, and finally completely reduce CO2 and H2O, meeting the requirements of sustainable development. The good transparency, toughness, biocompatibility and heat resistance of PLA are the main reasons for its wide application. In addition, PLA is thermoplastic and can be used in many fields. Products prepared with it, such as packaging materials and fibers, are mainly used in disposable products, such as disposable tableware and packaging materials.

PLA pure resin is translucent or opaque granular amorphous polymer. The melting point is 175~185℃ and the glass transition temperature is 50~65℃.

PLA is composed of starch and has good biodegradability. After use, it can be completely degraded by microorganisms in nature and eventually generate carbon dioxide and water, which does not pollute the environment. It is very beneficial to the protection of the environment and is recognized as an environmentally friendly material.

When PLA is incinerated, it will never release nitride, sulfide and other toxic gases. The human body also contains lactic acid in the form of monomer, which fully indicates that this decomposing product has a high degree of safety.
