High flow and high impact resistance PP

PP is a semi-crystalline material. (1) Physical properties: Polypropylene is a non-toxic, odorless, tasteless milky white highly crystalline polymer, and it is one of the lightest varieties of all plastics at present. It is particularly stable to water, has good formability, good surface gloss and is easy to color; (2) Mechanical properties: Polypropylene has high crystallinity and regular structure, so it has excellent mechanical properties, and its strength, hardness and elasticity are higher than those of HDPE. High, the performance of PP is bending fatigue resistance; (3) Thermal performance: PP has good heat resistance; (4) Chemical stability: Polypropylene has good chemical stability. All kinds of chemical reagents are relatively stable; (5) Electrical properties: Polypropylene has excellent high-frequency insulation properties, and because it hardly absorbs water, its insulation properties are not affected by humidity. It has a high dielectric coefficient, and with the rise of temperature, it can be used to make heated electrical insulation products. Its breakdown voltage is also high, and it is suitable for electrical accessories.

The main commercial use of impact-resistant PP copolymers is injection molded parts in automobiles, household goods, and appliances. Its impact resistance, low density, colorability and processability make it an ideal material. Medium-impact resin grades with higher melt flow rates have higher flow properties, a feature that is especially useful when injection molding large parts such as automotive panels.
